What is the Billings FC Summer Academy?

The Billings FC Summer Academy is an elite summer training program preparing top youth players for Copita Alianza, the largest Hispanic youth soccer showcase in the U.S. Players train with professional coaches, then compete in the tournament representing Billings FC.

Who can participate?

Boys & girls born 2007–2019.

Players from any club are welcome — this is a supplemental program that does not interfere with your current club.

Do I have to leave my current club to join?

No.
You can continue playing for your club and join Billings FC for summer elite training and Copita Alianza.

Where and when is training?

📍 Riis Park Turf — Chicago, IL
🗓️ 3 training sessions per week for 2 weeks leading into the tournament
Exact schedule announced after selection.

What tournament do we play in?

Players compete in Copita Alianza 2026, with scouts from:

  • Chivas

  • Club América

  • Chicago Fire

  • U.S. National Team

  • Mexico National Team

How much does the program cost?

Tryouts: FREE

If selected: $325 total fee, which includes:

  • Tournament registration

  • 6–8 elite training sessions

  • Full Billings FC uniform

  • Professional coaching staff

  • Player development feedback

  • Showcase exposure to professional scouts

Is financial assistance available?

Yes. Billings FC offers need-based support to ensure deserving players have access.

How are players selected?

Evaluation includes:

  • Technical ability

  • Speed & physical profile

  • Soccer IQ

  • Attitude & competitiveness

  • Fit for elite tournament play

Who are the coaches?

Led by licensed Billings FC coaches and player development staff with professional and college soccer experience.

Will this affect my club season?

No.
This is a summer-only supplemental program — there is no conflict with club or high school soccer.

What happens after Copita Alianza?

Standout players may receive:

  • Continued ID invitations

  • College recruitment support

  • Pro scouting recommendations

  • Further opportunities within the Billings pathway
